A point of constitutional law has emerged today that experts are claiming means that Jeremy Corbyn can automatically become Prime Minister in the event that Theresa May is unable to pass a Tory/DUP Queen’s Speech into law in the House of Commons.
There are now a number of political commentators who are speculating that this is the main reason why the Queen’s Speech has been delayed in Parliament – a fear that it will fail at the first stage and possibly pass the premier role to Corbyn ‘on a silver platter.’
