I’ma break it down to you right now: If someone inspires me and I connect with them, I don’t have to believe in all they policies.”

Chris Rock recorded the rant from the audience and shared it on his Instagram Story. At one point, he seemed to whisper, “My God.”

As for the president, Trump said he “didn’t watch” the season premiere but noted that Kanye was “leading the charge,” tweeting:

Whether or not the liberal SNL cast enjoyed it, Kanye said he had a blast on the show and teased that he might even be hosting later this season, sharing on Twitter:
